Born and raised in Montclair, NJ, Borzomati first fell in love with event planning and the restaurant business as a little girl growing up in her uncle’s restaurant in New York. After high school, Borzomati got her start working with Battello executive Chef Ryan DePersio at his flagship restaurant, Fascino, where she discovered her passion for food and the restaurant industry and had the opportunity to learn all aspects of front & back of house from one of the best in the business.

After graduating from Johnson & Wales with a degree in Food & Beverage Management, Dominique accepted a position working with one of New Jersey’s largest catering company, Frugilio Caterers, where she began learning the in’s and out’s of the wedding industry and private events. It is here where her love for planning parties began. After a brief stint at The Grove, she journeyed cross the Hudson, spending two years running food and beverage operations and serving as special events coordinator for the W New York Downtown, followed by time spent as restaurant manager of Mondrian Soho’s Isola.

Passionate about the importance of special events and private dining, Borzomati returned to New Jersey to serve as director of events for Battello in 2014. She leads a team that pays attention to individual needs of clients and thrives to create truly memorable moments.
